Does my data or encryption key get passed over Bluetooth signal?
No. Bluetooth is simply the communication channel. The authentication is handled via secure server/app exchange. Your data or the encryption key cannot be extracted by any side channel attacks or Bluetooth listener.
What if a file has a virus?
If DriveSecurity finds an infected file, you’ll see a red entry in the list stating Infected file. DriveSecurity will automatically delete the infected file from the drive.

Do you store my username/password to my Cloud?
No! All communication is handled between your browser and host server. Once the initial handshake with your Cloud provider is complete the application collect a response token which is then encrypted and stored on the BACKUPDRIVE.
How can I be sure the files are in the cloud?
You can check your cloud storage provider’s site and look for your files. Your files should be inside your Cloud’s Apps/USB-to-Cloud folder.
Do I need the BACKUPDRIVE to restore files from Cloud?
No! You can simply login to our account from the web and restore your files directly from the cloud provider. If file encryption is turned ON you must download the USBtoCloud software in order to unlock your files.
